I am so tired of pants that come only to the belly button. They’re unfinished, as far as i’m concerned. Has the waist gone out of style? These were awful. I buy Dockers for my husband, the kind with a cuff. I love them. But Dockers is NOT for women.

I must have missed, or it wasn’t stated, on the purchase page, that these pants were for curvy people. It only said, fitted, flattering, tall, misses, etc. It wasn’t until I recieved the pants that the tag said something different. Well, girls, here is a product we should all have in our makeup arsenal. I use a lot of the BE products but for a dark liner to line my lids I always used MAC fluidliners. They are excellent too, but I developed an allergy to them. So, I switched to BE Liner Shadow and I love it.
I am blonde with blue eyes, so I use “Bark;” not a great name for a beauty product but the perfect color for me. I have a double-ended Stila brush that I use with this liner. I use a can of Evian aerosol water (very cool product, BTW) and mist a little into the cap. Then I tap some of the liner onto the cap and mix it with the water, and then apply using the liner end of the brush. What you get is a nice, solid line.
Of course, most of us want to avoid the “Amy Winehouse” look, so then I use the blunt end of the brush to gently smudge the liner (after it’s dry) for a softer edge. Presto! Instant smoky eye. This doesn’t quite have the staying power of the MAC gel liner, but I think it is a more gentle, natural product and much better for my eyes.
BTW, I wear contacts, and the BE Liner Shadow doesn’t bother my eyes at all. Bottom line: this product is a winner! It’s cheap and a little goes a long way. It looks gorgeous too. Will re-purchase again & again!

I give it 3 stars – the problem is that no matter how much you “tap” the excess off, as soon as you touch your liner brush to the eye little specs of the powder fall on your cheeks. You go to wipe it off and no matter how gently you do it (q-tip, cotton ball, etc) it always leaves a dark smear. And you JUST finished doing your makeup. On the upside, because it’s a powder liner it isn’t harsh or goopy like a liquid liner, yet the color is very pigmented and makes a statement. I was surprised at how much color a powder liner could pack! (But note: this contributes to the problem of wiping off fallen specs of color.) Also, I find that halfway through the night I look in the mirror and there is an obvious and embarrassing streak near at least one, if not both, of my eyes (the powder obviously falls as you blink throughout the day/night). I do NOT overdo it either, my skin is light and I use very little makeup. Bottom line: I love using this product when I wet it (“foil technique”) before application, but I seriously don’t believe that anyone can use this product dry. It’s impossible. Still, 3 stars because it looks awesome while wet. I also think the company really needs to find a better way to package the liners b/c it always gets all over the counter when handling it.

This product is excellent. No running at all, although I recommend you put it on before your face products as I ALWAYS have some on my cheek after I put it on. With Bare Escentuals a very small amount goes a long way so a small amount can be quite dark. I really like that I’m done with makeup for the day within 10 minutes also.

My daughter gave this to me for Christmas. It is now April 13th and already the carafe handle is broken. I agree with earlier review that the hole to put the water in is small and awkward, also it is difficult to see the water level as it fills. Otherwise, it works great and I love the look. It frees up counter space and is not big and bulky looking.

I bought one of these a few months back as I need all the counter space I can get. It is perfect for my kitchen and I love the space I got. It makes a quick pot of coffee and the temp is just right.
I think the only couple downsides I see are that the place where you pour the water is a small hole, easy to miss. Also, for some reason, the clock is screwy. It is slow and it looses about an hour every day. Finally, the pot on mine broke after only a month and I cannot find a replacement for it.

… and that’s exactly what you’ll get. A French press is arguably the best cup of coffee around, and that’s what you’ll get. It will just be very small. I bought it after not looking closely enough at the description — I wanted a 12 CUP press, so this just wasn’t the one to replace the drip coffee maker we use every morning here. We debated sending it back, and finally decided against it.
So I brought it to work, and it’s perfect there. It fits into a small corner, and makes only as much coffee as I can take away with me, leaving very little mess behind. It comes with its own scoop, which is convenient, though I like rather a bit more grounds than they suggest. Eh. It’s still a lovely cup that comes out well enough that I don’t need to put cream into it.
And yes, it does make a fine cup of tea as well.

My husband and I love the Bodum coffee press. It’s hard to explain how much better coffee is when brewed this way—let’s just say it matches the best restaurant coffee we’ve ever had. Much to our surprise we almost never buy coffee when we’re out now, although we used to do it quite often. Our coffee, made at home with the Bodum press , is so much better than what we were buying that we just don’t want their coffee anymore. Looks like we’re going to save some money as well as having better coffee. One word of advice—make sure the 3 cup size is what you really need. It makes just enough coffee to fill one of our medium sized mugs. That’s fine for us since one of us wants decaf and the other doesn’t. You’ll want a larger size if you were thinking to fill 3 typical coffee mugs from it.

5 Stars Making coffee the main event
Just got a 6 cup Bialetti this week, love it.
First off, don’t be deceived by the 6-cup description, this pot will only make enough to fill one larger cup as our land of supersizers knows of it. If you are looking for 6 true cups of coffee at a time, stick with your countertop brewer or go for a larger size. Also, you won’t be able to make successive cups (for company or spouse) due to the pot being lava hot after brewing one cup. Someone said the smaller the pot, the better the brew, I can’t confirm this, but I’ll assume they know what they are talking about. I’m single, so this product is perfect for me.
Who this product is best suited for:
* Someone who can appreciate coffee for what it is by itself, including both taste and smell. I will cut a square of semi-sweet bakers chocolate and pair it with a small cup in the evening, it’s become one of my guilty pleasures and the slightly bitter combination mixes oh so well. But I digress.
* Someone who likes strong coffee. Whether or not you join in the debate regarding whether it’s true espresso or not really isn’t important, it’s a thick brew. With that said, it’s not meant to be the equivalent of espresso that’s steam piped through a machine.
* Someone who thinks of coffee as more than something to wash down their eggs and toast.
* Someone who doesn’t need to drink it by the pot just to function in the morning.
* Someone who likes the simple things. There really is nothing that can break (other than the gasket ring that will need to be replaced periodically), no maintenance (in the Moka’s case, less is better), no wondering if you should’ve bought the extended warranty. Reclaim your countertop.
What I wish I could change about it:
* I wish there was a method to pull the basket out without growing fingernails. Maybe a small post in the middle of the basket? That’s the extent of my engineering suggestions.
* I wish it would cool down enough to clean it out by the time I needed to go to work. Beginning to end, you will need to have about 30 minutes to spare, or clean it when you get home from work. I don’t wash mine, water boils in it everyday, so I don’t see the need to sterilize it. If you are germaphobe, you might be better off without one of these, as washing it is discouraged. But I don’t like warm, wet grounds being left in it at room temperature all day.
Important tips:
* Not sure if I’d purchase this if I had an electric stove. I suppose you could brew on an electric stove, though I can’t picture it. Common sense says use the smallest burner with the flame no wider than the bottom of the pot. Negative reviewers have complained that the handle melted during brewing. Duh.
* Pull it off the heat before it gurgles, the foamy water is just that, let it draw up by itself for the last minute or so. I leave the cover open for the last five minutes, I only close it for the first couple minutes to warm the top of the pot. It doesn’t come shooting out like an oil well unless you’ve done something wrong, it only dribbles out. I did neglect to screw it together tightly once and bubbles came out the sides, this might be dangerous given the physics of steam and pressure, but I was there to oversee what was going on and fixed it. Lesson learned.
* I’m not going to promote any specific type of coffee. I use whole beans that I grind myself, mine aren’t specifically marketed for espresso. By the way, I think espresso is a grind, not a roast, but I’ll leave that to the coffee officiandos out there to correct me, it’s really not something I’m compelled to argue. I don’t use ultra dark roasts, either, as a normal roast tends to produce strong enough coffee for me in this thing, and I’m a strong coffee drinker.
Whew. Thanks for reading, I can’t think of anything else that hasn’t already been pointed out by the moka veterans who’ve reviewed.
5 Stars Amazingly simple, amazingly yummy espresso
I chose the small 3-cup Bialetti because I thought all I needed was enough espresso to make 1 or 2 servings for lattes. The 3-Cup makes about 4 shots. It only takes about 3 minutes for the water to boil and the espresso is totally yummy. But now I am thinking I want a larger one to use as a coffee maker! You can’t go wrong with this affordable percolator and I should also mention that it is a breeze to clean.

Now you can! Because the Melitta filterpads can be filled with your favorite coffee in a second. Make it as strong or weak as you like, by putting more or less coffe in the filterpad.

This is how to use your filterpad : Fill it with 3-4 teaspoons ground ‘drip coffee’ or ground espresso coffee (the finer the better). Push the flap inside, and make sure the coffee is spread evenly in the filterpad. Make sure the filterpad is closed securely. Put the filterpad in your ‘pod holder’ of the machine you have, close the lid and make the coffee!
Important Tips:
The finer the grind, the better the results. So don’t use coffee that is ground too coarse. A ‘drip coffee’ grind is fine enough (but espresso or Turkish grind is better).
The optimum ‘filling amount’ is 6-8 grams of ground coffee. This is 3-4 LEVEL teaspoonful.
Remove any loose grains of coffee off the closed padfilter before putting it in the pod coffee machine.
Used filterpads can be put with the green waste since they are biodegradable!

I use these filters to make my own coffee pods. The only thing that I do differently is I “heat seal” them with my heat sealer. Then I don’t have to fiddle with the little flap and it goes a lot faster. You can buy a heat sealer on line. Just do a “Yahoo” search. I make hundreds of pods ahead of time and keep them in an airtight container. The heat sealer works great. I hope Melitta keeps making these filters. They work great with the Melitta one/one coffee pod machine.

These filterpads are perfect for anyone who wants the convienance of pods with the flavor of their favorite coffee. Its not a matter of math, for me Senseo is terrible and with these I am still saving alot over getting a cup from starbucks or Dunkies. These pads will hold 4tsp (actual tsp not a metal spoon) maximum as indicated, I easilly fill mine with 3tsp. The first batch or two were experimental but after getting the hang of it I can easily make 10 in <5 minutes for the week. To me you cant beat a cup of coffee that is cheeper than buying, no grinds to deal with, taste great.

These coffee filters for the Senseo coffee makers are o.k. When I figured out how much coffee I was using + the cost of these filters (can’t find them anywhere but on line) + shipping, it came out to equal what the Senseo coffee pods are going for in the grocery store (currently $4.19 a package of 18 pods). Savings is pennies if anything at all. They are tricky to handly and can split or spill easily. They recommend making a few ahead – I wouldn’t because the flap that holds the coffee in the filter isn’t a very good seal. Positives – you can choose the coffee you fill them with.

I am confused as to why another reviewer said “The math does not add up”. I got 3 for $17.97 plus about $6.60 shipping. That comes to 16 cents a filter and I can now use ANY coffee I want. I currently use Starbucks coffee in my Senseo, and sometimes I buy a flavored coffee at the store as well. My cost per 8oz cup is less that 25 cents with a good coffee. So I am speding far less than I used to and get great coffee to boot. Even better is that I discovered I can put tea in the filters and make tea too! Also my friend owns a Melitta One machine, and these filters work perfectly in her machine too! Thank you Melitta! I LOVE these filters!

Trap all those bitter oils and sediment in a filter before it can have a negative impact on your pot of coffee. When the brewing is over, simply toss the grounds and filter away.

These filters are for a Chemex coffee maker. I cannot buy them at my local grocery store, so I order them. They do just exactly what they are supposed to do. The weight of the paper is just right to hold the coffee and water and still let the water drain through the grounds.

My home has little storage space with small, crowded closets, so the encased sewing machine will need to be placed in a corner of a room. I now need to find a way to “hide” it. Additionally, the wide table attachment which came with the sewing machine (and which is essential to balance and stabilize its very light weight) does not fit into this carrying case, so must be housed elsewhere. Again, a storage issue for me.

I have been using a coffee maker similar to this at work so when I saw the Ariete priced so reasonably, I decided to get one for home.
I carefully read the other user reviews and it seemed that the main objections were user-controlled circumstances that could be adjusted. I also like Amazon because it offers free shipping to Hawaii.
We are completely satisfied with the Ariete. We have a nice burr grinder that produces a consistently-sized result so the shots are predictable and delicious.
So easy is this machine to use that my 19 year-old son is also enjoying home-made cappuccinos and Americanos (my preferred brew). The bags of coffee now last 1/2 as long as they used to. That is a good thing.

This is the best espresso maker ever. I love espresso a lot, so I was happy to obtain a machine to make espresso right at home. It saves me a lot of money because I don’t have to go to Starbucks to get espresso anymore. With the economy, that is a relief. I have a job right now, but you never know if my boss might come in one day and say, “We’ve decided to close this office and open one in India. People there work for one fourth the amount we have to pay you. So, beat it.” I hope that doesn’t happen, but it’s a cruel world. I suppose the guy who lives in India would not agree. He’d be happy to have my job. One thing of interest, is that this machine is made in China. I didn’t even know they knew what espresso was. Maybe they don’t and they’re just making the machine based on a design that was given to them and they’re just making the machine and going, “I wonder what this thing is for”, except they’re saying it in Chinese, of course.

I am not an expert on this type of product however I can say that for the first time in my life I am experiencing an excellent cup of coffee every morning. One thing that is a little irritating is that you have to wait at times for the machine to convert the water into steam when heating up the milk. Another is that I had to order a second machine because the first did not work. All in all I am happy with my purchase mainly because of the price.

Evey day, I get up, fire up the Ariete and make a cap or latte. It works awesome every time. Smooth running, great steam ( after a few seconds ) and the pump is so strong I have to lower the amount of time for my shots to be pulled. ( 20 sec now for a double)otherwise there is too much. ( Yes I tamp it very hard, I’m a big boy)It’s solid and looks good. The only dings I can think of are that the knob that handles the steam/coffee is getting hard to turn, I think some smaller or older women might have trouble with that part of the brew process.

I just crushed ice with this powerful ice crusher and love it! It did the job well. Don’t expect ice fit for a slushy or snow cone. You will not find that with this machine. Do expect excellent broken ice for all your drink needs. This machine is made well and is professional grade. You will not be disappointed with it. I can not wait to use this machine to crush ice for my sweet tea. YUM!

I have always wanted a ice crusher, So I waited till I found the one I wanted & I found it here on AMAZON as soon as the UPS guy droped it off, I started crushing ice to see how well it worked. It makes NO sound at all while it is crushing the ice… I LOVE IT!
It was worth waiting years for it, If your in the market for a ice crusher this one is GREAT!!!

I LOVE it!
Not only does it work very quickly, but it’s also very quiet (compared to my last one) I use it at least two to three times a week, filling the catcher twice each time.
It makes perfect sized small chunks for all my beverages and if I wanted to eat just the ice, it is the perfect size for that too. (I’m sure I will this summer)
The large capacity compartment is a blessing, as I can crush so much between emptying and refilling. At least 10 tray’s at a time.
As with other reviews, you must not fill your ice tray’s to max or cubes will be too large and it WILL jam, just fill with less water. The name does say “Professional” so I am assuming it was not necessarily made for the large ice-cube tray’s from the home freezer. (un-jamming was not a problem, I just pressed down a little on the cubes in the unit)
Owned it for a couple months now and wouldn’t trade it for anything!

5 Stars Big Capabilities with the Big Shot
I have been using the Big Shot for a few weeks now and LOVE it! It works very well with Sizzix products but I have also used it with Cuttlebug and QuicKutz as well as brass stencils which I previously owned. I have found Spellbinders Nestabilities dies to work well in the Big Shot for both cutting and embossing. Be sure to buy the tan embossing pads if you plan to use these and you will have no problems. You get a lot more for your money buying the Nestabilities with greater choices and graduated sizes vs. individual dies. And they are so much easier to store.

I just received my Big Shot today and I’ve already tried it out with the Cuttlebug embossing folders and I LOVE IT!!!! I sold my Cuttlebug to buy this and I have to say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. It is heavier, but I never take any of machines to crops so that doesn’t bother me. I think it’s better quality and I think that the Big Shot does so much more. It’s universal for all die cuts and embossing folders. I found it easier to turn than the Cuttlebug and I like the variety of things that you can use with the Big shot, fabric, heavy chipboard, etc. It’s a great purchase and I think everyone will be happy with it.

I like the Big Shot much better than the Wizard I had, the cranking is easier than the ratcheting. I also had a Cuttlebug (it broke and was sent in for repair when I purchased this) I do think I like the Cuttlebug better as the platform being locked in is a little annoying but it is built a little better than the cuttlebug and Amazon’s price is reasonable.
All in all, I’m glad I have it…one can never have to many die cut machines especially when they do break (I think I’m freakishly strong) as I have broke 2 now.

Cricut is all around great. These sticky mats are brilliant. They are sometimes a little too sticky at first, but it doesn’t take long. LOVE IT! If you don’t have a Cricut, get one!!!

I always have backup Cricut products on hand and Amazon has the best selection of items, in stock & the best prices. These mats are sometimes hard to find in stores and I received mine in a few days (I have the Prime membership though).
You can wash and dry the ones you have and alternate using 2-3 mats to keep them in use alot longer. You can also make them less sticky by placing a clean white t-shirt over them to reduce some of the stick that can tear lightweight paper or vellum.

The Cricut personal machine is great for those who just don’t have the room (or the money) for the larger version. The cutter is fast, accurate and user friendly. Be aware that you will need to buy additional cutting mats and blades if you cut often. Much more fun than buying one die cut at a time! Kudos to Cricut!

I absolutely love this product! I have done more scrapbooking in the last few weeks than I have in the last 6 years. Yes, it is a bit on the expensive side, but if you are serious about scrapbooking it is totally worth the investment.

I did not recieve this Cricut Machine that I ordered back in March from HoneyHive123(Buyer Beware)!! I hope to order another one soon…then I can give a better personal review. From what I have been told from family & friends who own a Cricut Machine, they are great machines & make scrapbooking & crafts alot easier!!!
1 Star Customer Service is non-existent
I bought my original cricut almost 2 years ago. After maybe 100 uses, the mat would not load properly. so I called Customer Service to find out where the nearest repair dealer was….guess what? Only they can repair or replace parts. Now that is convenient for them but not very convenient for customers given that the last time I called I waited 18 minutes for someone, who was unenthusiastic and wooden, to get on the line with me. Later that evening I wrote an e-mail about my experience. Seven days later, I am still waiting for a response. If I didn’t have so much money already invested in this product I would probably just pitch it. And if I treated my customers like they do I wouldn’t have a job or customers.
