3 Stars Not what I expected
I have wanted to try this for a long time, but it really didn’t support my neck like I had hoped. I was not as happy with it as I thought I would be.
1 Star Waste of money, here is the home solution….
You can achieve the same results at home, without spending money on this or other similar products. Get a can of soup (or any other similar can), roll it up in a towel to a desired level of softness and thickness that is needed to comfortably support your particular neck. Voila! You just got the same exact support that this item was meant to provide without spending 30-40 bucks. To achieve whole spine relaxation, lie on the floor with the neck support that you just made, then place something underneath your lumbar spine to compensate for any curvature that you might have (once again, a rolled up towel will probably suffice for most people, I personally use a memory foam type support meant for office chairs due to my increased lumbar curvature), and then place your lower legs on a chair such that your knees are at ninety degrees and your calves are fully supported by the chair. Ah!..feel that tension melt away…:-)
5 Stars I’m in love with my real-ease!
I’m a physical therapist who accidentally discovered the real-ease after doing a quick search on amazon for cervical supports. After reading the reviews, I decided to make the purchase and couldn’t wait to try it out once it came in the mail. I was not disappointed. It’s a great cervical support and does allow for complete relaxation of your cervical muscles. Just 10 minutes on it…my neck was completely pain free (temporarily). I have mechanical neck pain from hunching all day at work in combination with a lot of muscle tension causing referred pain into my shoulders, chest and upper arms. The real-ease doesn’t fix the problem, but it certainly helps to relieve some of the pain.
As for the construction: the device is made of a soft pliable plastic, but I don’t feel like it’ll snap unless you abuse it. It’s comfortable enough for my small neck as well as my husband’s bigger neck.
I don’t think this device will help everyone, but I do recommend it for people who develop a lot of tension in their necks and shoulders and need some relief. Great for mechanical neck pain and people with headaches due to tension and stress. Haven’t tried it out on patients with chronic neck pain due to disc herniations or spinal stenosis yet, but it’s worth a shot. Also don’t know how well it’ll work for those with radicular symptoms in their arms.
Overall, a good product for personal use to be used in conjunction with other forms of treatment if necessary.

This product is great! It makes your neck muscles feel like you’ve gotten a massage when you use it lying down. I love it and highly recommend it!

It’s actually very simple, the neck support stretches the neck at the proper angle and removes the stress from the neck. Worked for me the first time and worked for others who tried it the first time.
Depending on the neck stress you have it can be slightly painful as you lay your head back. I laid flat with my head on pillows until I could get a full neck extension.
