Each package has three charcoal and three white filters for the dual filtration system. The two replaceable filters prevent the release of oil vapors and odors into your kitchen. The black charcoal filter takes out the odors and the white filter prevents the release of oil vapors. When the white oil vapor filter indicator square changes or the filter turns brown it is time for replacement after approximately twelve uses. Also contains six paper filters for straining debris form used frying oil.
